Reader Appreciation Week: Three Ready-to-Wear Ledbury Shirts

Consider this week five days of saying thank you. Without your readership, your emails, and your willingness to spread the word, Dappered wouldn’t exist. The collection of good guys who frequent this corner of the internet is by far the greatest achievement of this website. And to say thank you, we’ve put together five, splurge-worthy giveaways that’ll hopefully express our gratitude. This is Dappered’s Reader Appreciation Week. Good luck, and thanks a million.

Ledbury shirts really are that much better. Yes, they are expensive. No doubt about that. But the way they feel, fit, wear, and look makes them worth the cost. Unlike other cheaper dress shirts, you’re not having to sacrificing one element to get what you want somewhere else. Sure that cheapo shirt may look good, but the fabric is kinda itchy. Or, it may look good with a tie, but tieless looks odd. Maybe the collars look perfect, but they’re a pain to iron and fray over time.

For many of us, that just isn’t the case with Ledbury. Everything looks and feels just-so. And Ledbury shirts look and feel just-so wear after wear, and wash after wash.

Ledbury’s brilliant 2nd button placement and terrific collar design.

One of the features that sets Ledbury apart from the rest is their lowered second button. Positioned just a half-inch or so lower compared to the competition, Ledbury’s second button stance is perfect. Wearing a Ledbury shirt tieless looks terrific. You’re neither too restricted, nor showing too much chest.

But it’s not just the button that makes their shirts look great. The European milled fabrics are second-to none, with their fine-twills being exceptional every-day dress shirts. And their collars? Their collars are fantastic. The canvassed interlining means you can ditch the magnets and just use a pair of decent weight collar stays to keep your collar at attention all day long.

I don’t always wear dress shirts. But when I do, I prefer Ledbury…”

Their shirts are manufactured in Europe with Mother of Pearl buttons, and come in two fits. The Classic Fit is actually more of an athletic cut, good for the broader chest/shoulder guys. Their Slim Fit is nice and trim, without looking shrink-wrapped on most frames.

The quality is lasting too. Wash after wash, on cool or warm with a tumble dry medium to low. Warm iron after that. I’m not the easiest on shirts (wearing or washing/ironing) but my Ledbury shirts have never given me an issue.

They make a ton of different colors, patterns, and collar styles, and the winner here gets their choice of any three. If you’re new to Ledbury, strongly consider their mid-spread white and blue fine twills. Yes, those colors & collars are foundation basics for any guy’s wardrobe, but getting three Ledbury shirts in those basic colors might re-define your idea of what your “good” go-to dress shirts should look and feel like. More specifically, they just might show you that your go-to shirts shouldn’t look and feel “good.” They should look and feel great.

Enter here to win three of Ledbury’s ready-to-wear shirts of your choice (up to a $495 value). No, you don’t have to get the fine twills, that was just a suggestion. You can get whatever you want. One entry per person. Deadline for entry is 11:59 pm ET 10/2/15. Thanks to Ledbury for jumping on board our Reader Appreciation Week!

UPDATE: Congrats to J. Houtteman who won the drawing for the three shirts from Ledbury!
