J. Crew 25% off Select Items + Free Ship. no Min.

SHOPNOW = 25% off Select Items + Free Shipping No Min

J. Crew really seems to have gotten a little less code crazy in the last few months. Sure, they still run promotions all the time, but it seems as though less and less of their inventory is up for those discounts. And more often than not, some of their most desirable stuff (such as sportcoats, suiting, new arrivals, and shoes) are completely excluded. But at least that’s not totally the case this time around.

Many of their new arrivals are up for this 25% off discount. Some sportcoats too. No, not the legacy blazers, and almost their entire inventory of shoes aren’t up for this code, but there’s a good chunk that’s worth a look. Especially now that the weather is starting to turn in many areas. Free shipping no min. expires today, 9/15/15.

Ludlow Sportcoat in Navy or Grey English Tweed – $223.50 ($298)

Probably the star of this sale show. Partially unconstructed, and it looks like the back is half lined. Subtle herringbone pattern. Abraham Moon Mill wool/cotton fabric. Patch pockets on the lower half with a welt at the chest. A total staple that should see a ton of work between now and late spring.

SLIM Lambswool V-Neck Sweater – $52.15 ($69.50)

Lambswool instead of merino, so expect it to be a little bit bulkier but also a bit warmer. A good, tough fabric for those colder, laid back days. Raglan sleeves and their slimmer fit that the not so bulky dudes really appreciate. Ships free today.

Bowery Slim Pants in Blackwatch or Tonal Blackwatch Cotton – $66 ($88)

Looks best at a holiday party, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be worn well before (or after) either. The tonal option (on the right) is a little more subtle than the true blackwatch. A true slim, so if you’re into squats, you might risk busting a seam. Another item that’s nice to have the free shipping no minimum on.

Ludlow Sportcoat in Italian Cotton – $171 ($228)

Lighter in weight and warmth than the tweed options, but still plenty versatile. A fine shade of fall appropriate green. Should make for a great (but not obnoxious) injection of color among your navy and grey blazers and sportcoats. And if it’s anything like their blue Italian cotton sportcoat from the spring, then it’ll walk the line between casual and dressy extremely well.

Ludlow Sportcoat in Corduroy – $148.50 ($198)

Pictured above is last year’s version, but this year’s looks virtually identical. And if it is? That’s great news. No back lining, great versatile shade of grey, and a wale that’s not too wide. One difference this year, is that they’re sized in exact chest sizes, instead of the ball park S/M/L sizing. Size shown above is a medium on 5’10” / 175. Full review of last year’s version here.

SLIM “Softspun” V-neck – $67.12 ($89.50)

Their “softspun” fabric is a new blend that J. Crew is claiming walks right up to the line with Cashmere, but still doesn’t carry that cost. Merino wool, viscose, polyamide and alpaca all goes into the mix. 5 perfect fall ready shades, their slimmer fit, and a really nice contrasting stitch direction at the shoulders. Should make the wearer look a little more defined up top. Nice move outta them.

Dock Peacoat in Navy or Charcoal – $223.50 ($298)

A reminder: Go check your local Army/Navy surplus store. They often have the real thing. Honest to goodness peacoats that can be had for a steal. Not all styles will cover a blazer tail, like the Dock Peacoat should, but it’s still worth a look. Chest level hand warmer pockets here, which are hugely appreciated. Sadly, their topcoats aren’t on sale quite yet. Just the dock peacoat and their car coat.

Ribbed Lambswool Shawl Collar Cardigan – $111 ($148 )

Good grief that’s a beast. Knit from pure. fall. essence. Kidding. But it does look that way. Ribbed and has elbow patches. Pricey for sure, but it seems like the kinda thing you get one of and hold onto forever.

Ludlow Suede Cap Toe Boots – $224.25 FINAL ($368)

From the sale section, and somehow J. Crew has replenished a good amount of sizes. Final sale though, and that’s tough when it comes to footwear. They’ve gone for less, but this might be the last of last season’s sale run. Doesn’t appear that they’ve released a suede version of their cap toe Ludlow boot for this year either. Good shape and Goodyear welted sole. Review here.

Sussex Quilted Vest in Charcoal – $103.50 or Blackwatch – $111

Both in a cotton/nylon blend and both are insulated, but the Blackwatch pattern will cost you extra.

Crosby Sportcoat in Italian Wool – $246 ($328)

The item’s title says it’s a herringbone wool? Doesn’t look like it. At all. Looks to be a Glen Plaid / Windowpane instead of herringbone. Odd. Hope the partially unconstructed part is true. Cut for the guys with a little more protein stuck to their bones.

Kenton Suede Tassel Loafers – $148.50 ($198)

If memory serves, these were a late summer addition to their Kenton suede lineup. And time seems to be running out for a a suede tassel loafer with that kind of sole. But it might be a nice summer to fall transitional shoe if you live somewhere warm?

The 25% off select items code SHOPNOW expires on 9/20. The free shipping no minimum offer expires today, 9/15.
