Not even half-way through July, but it looks like the end-of-season sales are really starting to accelerate. A few years back, Bonobos did codes all the time. All. The. Time. Not so anymore, and when they do run a code, it’s almost always either item specific (like 25% off swim trunks & shorts), or an extra bit off the sale section. And that’s what we’ve got here.
But instead of the usual 25% off sale items, it’s bumped up to 30% off with the code VACATION. And their sale section seems to have more stock than usual. Not a ton more. But more. Doesn’t look like they’re in Final Sale territory yet either, so shipping is free and easy both ways. Picks as always are limited to items that have a good size selection at post time, unless otherwise noted.
Listed at $450, now down to $360 on sale, and the extra 30% off puts it around $250. Most likely fused, but they don’t move like they’re fused. Plus, these have a partial butterfly lining in the back, and what little lining they do use is bemberg. So those are some major pluses in the keeping-cool-department. Available in slim or regular fit, with the slimmer fits coming with shorter jacket tails (as seen above). The regular fits are already decently tailored, so most might want to go that way.
Still a splurge, but these are lighter weight that works really well during these damn dog days of summer. Big fan of that shade of super light blue on the left. Available in straight, slim, or tailored (tailored = super slim if memory serves) fits. Availability can vary by size & shade combo.
The famous bonobos rear-end fit in dark wash, made in the states denim. Available in Straight, slim, and tailored cuts. Perfect shade of dark-rinse blue too.
And all of em’ would look pretty smart with the flatiron premium denim. Well, not all at once. That’s a pretty… fashion-forward move. But I’m sure there’d be some street-style photographer who’d start a tumblr in your triple-belt wearing honor.
Really nice semi-spread collars on these shirts. The Aqua Check is available in a variety of fits, while the End-on-End stripe is from their higher quality “Americano” line. Those have Italian cottons, mother of pearl buttons, and a bunch of other fancy-pants shirt fixins.
It can be oddly tough to find a micro-stripe dress shirt. They look great when paired up with a solid suit and a solid tie with a bit of texture (like a silk knit). Point collar on this one, so a more straight-laced, conservative look compared to semi & full spread collars.
Crisp dress pants for the spring/summer/early fall months. The light grey is made from an end-on-end cotton, so you should get a very small bit of visual texture there. Sizes are going fast in the blue glen plaid.
Sure they’re out of season, but they’re solid quality merino-wool, and come in either the Bonobos standard (trim without being tight) or slim (for the real slim guys) cuts. There are other colors available, but sizing gets pretty scattered on those.
Still not cheap for a pair of shorts, but if you’re a fan of the Bonobos washed chino cotton fabric, as well as their caboose-friendly fits, then perhaps worth a splurge. Available in 5″, 7″, 9″, and 11″ inseams. Color selection can vary depending on size/inseam combo.
A laid-back crewneck made from 40% wool, 40% acrylic, and 20% alpaca. Just available in their noticeably trimmer slim fit though. So you best be good with your sweaters being close to the body.
The extra 30% off Bonobos sale items code VACATION expires on 7/16.
