Sales that deserve some attention heading into the weekend, or sometimes, a bit earlier. Might not be some massive once a year event, but still worth a look. Those are what make up these handfuls. Expect these things when necessary. Five of the better sales, one for each finger, are below, plus bonus sales if need be. Included are a few picks worth pointing out.
The (Obvious) Pick: The Made in the USA Woolrich Yankee Boot – $136.47 w/ ES021015AA
Nifty. They’re a spectacular boot, and that price is just absurdly low. Full review of the boot here. If that 35% off $100+ (AND Free shipping) code ES021015AA fails later on in the day, ALTHIRTY5 will get you 30% off.
UPDATE: That was… fast. The lighter brown “buckskin” are all sold out. Still plenty left in the “iron” shade. UPDATE II: Or… not? Iron appears to be all gone too? Strange.
Get ready to hunt and peck. This is a real clearance. Sizes are ALL over the place on a lot of desireables (decent sizes left on the pics above, at post time). Lots of their mighty fine ribbon belts are on sale for $24 – $29. Those suede boots are made in the USA. And that Fitzgerald Fit Tartan sportcoat is made from British wool, has a full canvas, and looks a heck of a lot like this Havana fit from Suitsupply.
The Pick: Burgundy Gresham “Alpine” Calf Leather Brogue Oxfords – $248.31 ($279)
Not the best code, unless you hit the clearance section. Which is where those burgundy, grain leather full brogues are currently hanging out. Certainly appears to be from one of their higher end lines of shoes? More on shopping at CT over here.
The Picks: White Cotton/Linen Blazer – $90.78 ($178 ), Chambray Blazer – $100.98 ($198)
The Good about Express blazers: They’re inexpensive, aren’t chopped in the tail like UNIQLO, have a decent button stance, and their sleeve cuffs are usually non-functioning. The Bad about Express blazers: They’re almost always fully lined in polyester. Kinda stinks. BUT… if you’re not prone to overheating, you can still make plenty use of these nice for the price, lightweight, fused jackets. Don’t forget to use the code 9049 at checkout for an extra 15% off.
The Pick: Danner Jack II – $169.98 ($190)
The Danner sale is in and of itself its own event, and then there’s six different winter clearance events going on (Apparel Tops, Bottoms, Accessories, Gear, Home, & Footwear). Hat tip to reader Southy for pointing out the Danner Jack II. Pretty sure that one is “imported”? One of the few that Danner imports. But it does have a stitch-down construction, and Danner knows a thing or two about making boots. Appears to be much sleeker than the Woolrich Yankee.
Plus a Christmas album you probably haven't heard yet this year. Maybe.
With a focus on holiday events. It's their last sale before their shipping cutoff.
