What’s Dappered Threads? It’s our forum. Launched in 2011, Threads has become a not too big, not too small, just-right-sized forum that doesn’t put up with snobbery. All thanks to the users and hardworking mods. Once a month, one of the mods from Threads provides us with a highlight package of the last few weeks.
For this “Friday Challenge”, zcm challenged Dappered Threads members to show off their favorite $175 or less outfit. The results were impressive to say the least. Ultimately, mattface beat the competition with his combined use of thrift finds, referral credits, clearance sales, and outlet deals. mattface showed an amazing display of a truly budgeted outfit which even included a vintage stetson hat, topcoat, and leather gloves! Everything, including underwear (he decided against posting pics of that) all rang up to be less than $175 total. Very impressive. This week’s Challenge is: Polar Vortex Outerwear. Entries are due by the end of Friday.
