Actually, yeah. They do.
Okay, well, they’re not knee highs (the ladies seem to dominate that realm this time of year… and bless them for doing so) but they do extend up a bit farther than most other boots. But The Wolverine Winchester really seems to lean heavily on the original purpose of The Brogue. Gets you over messy surfaces, while still looking good.
From the Wolverine 1000 mile collection, so they have a Goodyear Welt and are constructed from premium leather, yet these appear to be made in China. Most put a premium on USA made goods. Totally understandable. But… where was your iPad made again? Point is… maybe it’s not totally fair to wholesale dismiss a USA made product’s brother, that gets made overseas. Especially when the price has been kicked down to more than half off.
Leather sole with a rubber forefoot to keep you from sliding around too badly, but, they skipped a lug sole so these things remain streamlined. Poop kickers, yet gentlemanly at the same time.
