*Two notes on this one. First, as always, the graphics on J. Crew’s website say “final” sale, but even regular sale items, which are the ones that you can return, get the extra 30% off. Second… there are a few out of season items that are getting an extra 50% taken off with the code. Fifty. Five-O book em’ Dan-o. Can’t recall ever seeing that before. Those items are noted below. Prices in red reflect that discount. Code expires Monday 9/30/13.
According to the customer rep WB from the comments talked to… the 50% off items are final sale and can’t be returned. Even though there’s no red-text notification on the item’s page like there always has been in the past. Tread carefully here guys.
Just got off the phone with J. Crew. Here’s the key: If an item’s sale price ends in $.99 THEN IT IS FINAL SALE. Even if it doesn’t say it’s final sale. The rep said that they recently updated their website, so that red text that used to be there, saying it’s final sale? Isn’t there now. Eeesh. But… read the comments. Lots of conflicting reports from customer service reps and store managers. Just don’t want anyone to get burned here. Good luck!
Who needs a seersucker suit in late September? Nobody. And that’s why the jacket is an extra fifty percent off. The pants are an extra 30% off, dropping this thing to… less than a Factory summer suit. Good cripes. Anyone getting married next year? Throwing a derby party in May? There’s also a slimmer cut pant option available. You could also make it a three-piece. Pants and vest are below the jacket on the same page. You’ll have to scroll down. FINAL SALE
(rubs eyeballs)… The hell is going on around here. You’ve got to go to each items individual page, but, most if not all sizes available at post time. Skip the seersucker, here’s the wedding suit. They do have the slim-pant option, but those are all but sold out. Update: That jacket on the right is what shows up when you click on the only color available… “navy”. FINAL SALE
There’s also navy and a grey, but the sizing is all over the place (or non existent on those). The summer appropriate “stone” though, appears to have plenty of sizes. 30% off on the jacket, an extra 50% off on the pant. FINAL SALE
Already marked down a-plenty. The extra 30% off makes it actually affordable for most. Also available in a charcoal. Sizes are scattered. FINAL SALE
This combo is only available in the classic grey shown here. Not 50% off, but 30% off gets it down into the mid $200s. FINAL SALE
Dark navy, khaki, and a deep olive. A cheaper alternative to the Filson while you save up to… buy the Filson.
There’s not a lot of sizes left in the jacket, but if you just want a pair of really well made, high quality linen pants… then these are them. Want the slimmer fit? They’ve got those as well. FINAL SALE
Stitched welt, made in Italy, and a slimmer profile than most other chukkas.
Not 50% off, just an extra 30% off. And the pant sizes are somewhat limited. FINAL SALE
Wait a minute… some of you wouldn’t carry this? You don’t say.
Just got mentioned during the 25% off code sale, and now an extra few bucks off. Surprisingly substantial feeling with plenty of room for all your essentials.
Made by the Danes. In Denmark. No, not the Dutch. The Danes. But you could in fact share a Danish with a Dutchman in Denmark… if he’d be willing to make the trip. Here: I had to draw myself a picture.
FIT SHENANIGANS. The navy on the left sure doesn’t look as fitted as the charcoal on the right. Hm. It’s awfully early on to put these on sale isn’t it? What gives? UPDATE: These are now sold out? Strange.
I don’t ever wear bow ties, but if I would, I’d choose this one. Stay Preppy my Friends. (oh, and… FINAL SALE)
The J. Crew 30% – 50% off code SHOPNOW expires on Monday 9/30/13.
