If FRSHIP happens to stop working, LCJUN75 will get you free shipping on purchases over $75.
Lastcall is a little like GAP inc. Always on sale, so you have to wait for an “oh that’s a larger % off than normal” type of deal. 40% falls into that category, but it’s the free shipping no minim code FRSHIP that really helps out here. Even small stuff like socks gets shipped out on their dime.
Note that only items with a “regular” price get that cut. And by regular, they mean the first level of discounting that happens once an item hits the LastCall.com “shelves.” If it’s a category specific 30% or 50% off, then you can’t double up with an extra 40. No code necessary to get the discount, and the lower price should show up once you put the item in your cart. Remember, just one item gets the markdown, not a whole bag full o’ goods.
For about $100 less than a Suit Supply purple line, you get a made in the USA suit that is most likely fused, but could become a real favorite. Their Grand Central suits appear to be slimmer fitting (anyone with direct experience?) and that medium grey is a shade that somehow gets lost between the legions of charcoal and lighter grey suits on the market. 38R, 40R, 42R, and 44R available at post time. These are in a pricing no-man’s land. Somewhere around Banana Republic suiting, just south of SuitSupply, but probably fused and nowhere near as cheap as J. Crew Factory. Still, might be an option depending on the budget.
Doesn’t get the extra 40% off since these are already an extra 50% off . So, we got that goin’ for us. Which is nice. Made in the USA. Some bowties available as well if that’s more your thing.
From the Neiman Marcus house brand. Lots of guys swear by the trim-fit non-iron shirts and there’s plenty of colors and patterns to pick from. Meanwhile, these “stretch” shirts seem to be a new addition. 97% cotton with 3% lastol. Neck & sleeve sizing.
Under $90, ships free, from a brand with a decent rep. Amazon claims
Impulse buy. This is the digital commerce world we live in. Free shipping makes these a “oh-what-the-hell” kinda thing. Lots of earth-tones get worn in the summer, so maybe something to wear with a khaki suit.
A warning: Magnanni does like themselves an elongated toe. So, if you’re more of a traditional shoe silhouette guy, these might look elf-ish (as some reviewers report on the LastCall site). Both the blue and the “brandy” are shades that are much easier to pull off in warm weather.
Quartz? Yes. Gets by on the brand name? Absolutely. But it’s made in Switzerland, has a sapphire crystal, and that ribbed bezel is a real nice touch. More looks that substance, but it’s not completely shallow to all.
Urkel hits the beach? Saddle shoes + boat shoes… but the price is right, and the colors are okay. Might become a go-to pair you thrown on to pedal downtown for a quick bite or something.
Those dots are the perfect size. Not twister enormous, and not so tiny you can’t make them out. From NM’s own house brand. Just a touch over 3″ wide, so while not skinny, it won’t be goofy fat either.
Only if these were a true, closed lacing oxford. A blucher instead, but that medallion on the toe looks great. Speaking of the toe, it doesn’t look quite as elongated as some of Magnnanis other models?
The Extra 40% off one item sale ends Thrusday 6/6. No word on when FRSHIP expires.
