Sales that deserve some attention heading into the weekend, or sometimes, a bit earlier. Might not be some massive once a year event, but still worth a look. Those are what make up these handfuls. Expect these things when necessary. Five of the better sales, one for each finger, are below. Included are a few picks worth pointing out.
The Picks: Camel Overcoat – $174.40 ($468), Peacoat – $134,40 ($368), Gurnsey Clipper in Navy – $38.40 ($78), Trafalgar Squares Multi – $46.40 ($78) All American Oxford in Grey – $56.00 ($88), Cashmere V-Necks in Grey, Green, or Navy – $102.40 ($238).
Thanks to Ryan for sending in the style tip. Doesn’t seem like all of us got this email from the Bonobos Ninjas. This one’s pretty fluid, because it seems like new stock is appearing in their sale section. Sizes are really scattered. And early May is the last time to be considering a new camel overcoat… but… well look at it.
The Pick: Ludlow Blazer in Charcoal – $261.00 $291 ($388)
This might be one of the longer running codes in recent memory. Men’s suiting is of course excluded, but the charcoal version of their outstanding 2-button Italian Wool Ludlow blazer is now marked down. UPDATE: Price went back up overnight. Sorry bout that fellas. Meanwhile, it might be a good idea to keep an eye on their Chino suit separates. The suit jackets in “Wheat” were just on sale, but have since gone back up to regular price. Excluded from this code, but if they drop the price in the future and an extra 30% off sale code is running, they could get nicely affordable real quick.
The Pick: The Blue Claw Dopp Kit and all the stuff in it…
One of the better looking Bespoke Post boxes that they’ve put out. For $45 this month, you get a waxed canvas dopp kit from Blue Claw Co. plus a bunch of stuff to try out inside. Marvis toothpaste, hand made soap, 2-1 shampoo/conditioner, etc. Blue Claw Co. makes fantastic stuff (here’s an in person with a briefcase and a weekender). Nice work this month outta the Bespoke Post guys. Got one on the way for an in-person review and giveaway. Thanks to Brock and Dan for sending in style tips about this month’s box.
The Picks: 1950’s never worn Italian Knit Tie in Navy – $59.98, Ledbury Green Chambray Gingham – $69.98 ($135)
Lots of play for Huckberry this week, but between the Eliminator and the sales they’re running right now they deserve it (no, they didn’t pay anyone here to say that). Somehow Huckberry got their hands on a pile of deadstock Italian wool knit ties that were made in the 1950s. And they’re selling them. Sixty is no small price for a tie, but that’s quite a story. 1.5″ wide. Meanwhile, they’re doing some spring cleaning and have both a gear and apparel sale. Ledbury makes incredible shirts, but they cost an arm and a leg. Now, just an arm for the Green Chambray (and there are a couple other styles marked down as well).
The Picks: Heritage Leather Slim Card Case – $29.90, Heritage Leather Passport Case – $39.90
This one ends at 11am ET this morning. Rue La La is one of the better daily sale sites out there. Yeah, you have to pay for shipping, but once you do that you get free shipping from them for the next 30 days. You’re on the hook for returns if you want cash back, but returns are free if you take merchandise credit.
Also worth a mention: Speaking of Coach, their 25% off Friends & Family sale has launched and runs through 5/12. Banana Republic is offering an extra 40% off sale styles in-store only through the weekend. Lands’ End / L.E.C. is offering 40% off ONE item with MOUNTAIN and 4290. Free shipping kicks in at $50 and that code goes through 5/7.
The Huck team is off on vacation. Which means their big winter clearance is very…
Brooks Brothers starts their winter clearance with an additional 25% off sale items.
Plus a Christmas album you probably haven't heard yet this year. Maybe.
With a focus on holiday events. It's their last sale before their shipping cutoff.
