Not half-wit. Half-knit. The fabric on the top, leather on the palms thing isn’t necessarily new, but a thicker, shaker-style/almost waffle knit on the back of a glove is something different. Here’s what the black option looks like from the palm side:

Marked down to $63 thanks to the 30% off code JUST4U… but that’s still up there. That’s a primary-pair of gloves price point. Precisely.
Slick risk? Or leave this knit stuff to the ladies? Leave it all in the comments below.
I really like the tweed ones from Lands End. Not so much these.
maybe in brown, but defiantly not for that price.
the are cool but, do they keep your paws warm?
Thought they were chainmail at first glance.
No go. They kinda look cheap to me.
Not for the price.
The black, at half off of that $63, would be on my hands.
Just bought them – hoping they pair well with my new (and infamous) BR camel “Bridge” coat
Looks like a chain mail gauntlet. Good for halloween?
Grey/brown isn’t so bad. Looks like it would pull together a tweed-ish day.
How does that coat fit? True to size? I’m 6′ and trim with long-ish arms and wondering what size to get…
The brown isn’t bad, and if they’re well-made and warm, I wouldn’t expect a price much lower than about $40. But that weave is way too niche to spend that kind of money on: They’re too dressed up to wear with a casual jacket and jeans, but not dressy enough to wear with a proper dressed-up outfit — like someone else said, they look about right for tweed, but that’s an awfully constrained use at this price point.
Ha! You’re right. Too funny.
Coat definitely fits true to size. I’m 6′, athletic build, and the large fits perfectly. Get it already!!
I kinda like them. If made with Third World labor, then the price will have to be half of that, considering $70 made-in-China leather jackets can be had. If not made with Third World labor, I may pick them up.
I ride horses in them on a semi-regular basis. They aren’t really meant to be warm, from my experience. They’re supposed to keep your hands from getting clammy and sweaty in those situations where you don’t really want to wear gloves, but really should probably be wearing gloves.
That said, they’re perfectly functional for early fall, as long as there isn’t too much wind.
Im 6 – 6’1 190 and i got a Medium…. so you might need to try it on!
its a little bit tight, but i am hoping it loosens up with some wear. the alrge looked goofy. i always same im a Marge – somewhere between the two
whoa, typos…
I think these (or something similar would work well with a leather jacket.
