Would you wear it? The $58 Corduroy Suit

Jos. A. Bank Tailored Fit Corduroy Suit – $58.00 (or $49 per if you buy two or more)

UPDATE:  These are apparently polyester.  Yep.  Polyester corduroy…   Thanks to ColoradoGuy and BTP for taking the time to note this in the comments.  Damn.

Enormous tip of the cap to D.R.S.R. (dappered roving style reporter) Alan S. who sent in the style tip on this one.

Is Merril Hoge doing their tie knots for them?

Hm.  So it’s from their tailored fit line, but still might require work by your tailor.  Shoulder pad thickness/strength is unknown.  Lapels and button stance look decent, and there’s four colors to pick from.  6″ drop on jackets from 38 – 43.  That means take the jacket size, and subtract 6 to get the pant waist.  5″ drop on 44 – 48.  4″ drop from 50-52.  And they come un-hemmed so your tailor can finish them off with your preferred break.

Shipping to your door is a steep $10.95.  And you’re on the hook for returns, but it does appear you can return in-store for free.  Appears to be a “deal of the day” type of promotion, so who knows if the price expires at 11:59pm.

Worth making a run at?  Or are you staying as far away from corduroy suits as possible?  Leave it all below.
