Maybe this is supposed to be the spring/summer version of the brown corduroy with leather elbow patches professor jacket. All cotton exterior, half lined in cotton, and the sleeves are lined in poly. It’s no ultra light, but it could be worn under 80 and especially on a cool summer’s night with jeans or chinos.
The plaid is subtle (much more so than this blazer) and the fabric moves real well. Barely structured and the shoulder pads are hardly noticeable. Button stance isn’t too high or too low. Do know that this sucker runs small, and a 38R was ridiculously tiny looking on my 5’10” 165lb frame.
But those elbow patches…. Great detail? Or total deal breaker? Leave your take below…
