“Fab is a marketplace for discovering everyday design.” Ah. So it’s a flash-sale site, but their angle is that they’re a bit of a MoMA/Urban Outfitters/Etsy blend. Kinda. From Art, to bowls carved from Chinese Fir trees, to bicycle riding T-rex t-shirts, Fab certainly projects a feeling of eclecticism. And these watches just popped up.
The brand TRIWA is allegedly an abbreviation for “Transforming the Industry of Watches.” Some of them are awfully bright and look a lot like the brand Toy Watch. Others, like their Nevil Chrono, look like a really well executed combination of style between a larger +40mm chrono and a NATO strap equipped field watch:
Some are really going to like the style, the movements seem to be either Citizen or Seiko, and the organic leather straps look real nice. But there are a few strikes against these things:

$282 on Fab w/ $25 shipping and it’s final sale. $285 through Triwa direct with $25 shipping. Are we missing something here? Other than the $3 difference?
