The last few summers have seen guys wrapping brighter belts in webbed cotton and grosgrain around their waists. The nautical trend has been up as well, with fisherman’s sweaters in the winter, and lighter colored striped crew and V-necks in the spring. These belts combine both of those styles. Like the Gordon’s Fisherman in tie-dye.
They’re awfully tough to ignore. Which, might be a good or a bad thing.
Lands’ End Canvas is far from the only retailer making these things. Once we get closer to beach friendly weather, expect to see more of these types of belts wandering around.
But would you wear one? Or are these a little too colorful & sea-faring for the average land lubber?
