Old Calgary Organic Wool Oxford Card Sleeve – $15.00

MaxtonMen carries a couple of brands that specialize in making their goods here in the U.S.  Despite the name, Old Calgary makes their stuff in Florida (not Alberta.)  This card sleeve nails the entire upgraded rugged look.  Merino wool felt makes for an inexpensive gift for a pal or yourself.  And again, it ships free.

 

Maxton Men Silver Smoke 2″ Tie Bar – $24.00

So you want a tie bar but you don’t want any of the flash.  The answer will look something like this.  About the same price you’d pay for a shined up department store tie bar, and it ships free.

 

Woodlore Cedar Shoe Trees – $19.00

So here’s the scenario:  You just got a new pair of shoes.  That’s good.  But you don’t have an extra pair of shoe trees laying around to keep these new shoes in good shape.  That’s bad.  Usually, you’d head to Macy’s or something and maybe pick up a pair of cheap made in China shoe trees for around $20.  Maybe more if they’re not on sale.  These are under $20, made in the USA for Allen Edmonds, and since they ship free you don’t have to go to the mall.

 

Maxton Men Wool/Silk Navy Stripe Tie – $42.00

Made in China but the quality is pretty good.  Better than bargain ties where even the wool mix versions can feel downright flimsy.  This one doesn’t have that about to self destruct feel.  Plus the stripes are perfect, it ties a decent knot, and it’s 3″ at it’s widest point.  Not 2.5″ or 3″.  Three inches on the nose.
