25% off Everything L.E.C. with code: SAVE25 and pin: 1231
Code and pin also gets you free shipping with no minimum. Offer good 9/22 – 9/27
A few months ago most of us noticed the increase in prices and decrease in sale frequency over at L.E.C. So a blanket 25% off store wide sale is big time. Parent brand Lands’ End was running a 25% off everything + free shipping sale for the last few days, which luckily applied to the Canvas line too. Now it’s time for Canvas to pick up the discount flag and run with it.
Not sure if these codes will work over at the parent brand if you’ve got your eye on something that’s regular ol’ Lands’ End, but there’s plenty to pick from on the L.E.C. side:
.
Heritage Straight Fit Jean – $11.24 ($49.50)

These are last year’s model, but there’s still almost every size left in rinsed indigo. Eleven bucks and no shipping charges for a pair of dark denim? That’s tough to beat.
Heritage Poplin in Autumn Orange Windowpane – $37.13 ($49.50)

The second best use of color on a shirt this season, just behind Blank Label’s “Steve Albany” check. A little long to be worn untucked for those under 5’10”. But if you’re on the short side, might as well just tuck it in and look taller anyway.
Crosby Moc Toe Lace-up Boot – $111.75
($145)

Lots of good looks for just over a hundred bucks. The contrast stitching along the moc toe is nails. It’s not real slim at the toe, so at first glance they look a little clunky. But get them on your feet and you’ll see they’re a terrific blend of work boot and polish. Has a rubber sole with a leather look to it.
5-Pocket Straight Fit Cords – $44.63
($59.50)

And now you can wear red pants in winter too. Good selection of colors to chose from. Merlot is the deep red, and washed black is their grey. 14-wale, 5-pocket styling, also available in a slimmer fit.
1963 Canvas Trip Bag – $105.00
($140)

Surprisingly nice feeling waxed canvas that beads up water extremely well. Also available in a darker “expedition green.” Featured in the best weekend bags under $200 post.
Cotton Wool V-Neck Sweater – $18.74
($49.50)

Gotta admit… there’s a soft spot here for wool blend sweaters. There’s something about the texture that’s a good mid-point between an all cotton’s stretch and the roughness of wool. Even better when they’re on double sale and under $20. Sizes are limited, color options are not.
Striped Jersey Pocket Polo – $8.99 ($24.50)

Nine bucks is Target / Mossimo territory. These are cut wider than a Mossimo or Express Signature, so if you’re between sizes or a bigger guy, then they’re a solid bet. What’s not solid is the pattern. Great stripes on this one.
3-Eye Moccasin – $73.50
($98.00)

Very, very close to Sebago’s Beacon (which are also available through Bonobos if you’ve got credits, gift certificates, etc…) Dressed down almost to the point of sneakers, but not quite.
Orange Plaid and Nailhead Pocket Squares – $7.13 ($9.50 )

Less than a cost of a matinee and ships free. That orange plaid is offset by a blue which looks almost black online. Again, gotta love the free shipping here if you just want something small.
Shawl Collar Sweatshirt – $17.24
($39.50)

Another more than acceptable replacement for that bulky hooded sweatshirt. Same material, trimmer fit, and the hardly if ever used hood is replaced by a still plenty warm shawl collar. Limited sizes on these.
The Lands’ End Canvas 25% off & Free shipping no minimum code: SAVE25 & pin: 1231 expire Tuesday 9/27. And speaking of 9/27, might want to come back to Dappered that day. Because while 25% off is good, 100% off is better.
Hey Joe did you order the crosby moc toe true to your foot size? And I know you said you have an E width foot…how does the crosby deal in that regard?
That Crosby moc toe is seriously channeling Alden’s Indy boot: http://search.theshoemart.com/search?keywords=Alden+Indy+Boot&btnSearch=GO
Wow that’s one good sale. I’m definitely going to pick up a pair of the jeans but I also noticed on the L.E.C. Website that they have some chambray pants for $25 ($18 after discount), anyone know if they are any good? I’ve never had chambray anything before but it’s pretty warm where I live and I heard they are lighter than jeans.
How do those straight fits compare to 514s? I’m thinking maybe I should go slim, but I also want to fit my thighs in them.
I have recommended a few times to try Quiksilver jeans. After a recent post (either from this site or the Effortless Gent I cant remember) suggesting that every guy should have at least a pair of 514s, I went out and bought a pair. They are nice jeans and fit well, but I still hold firm that Quiksilver makes the most comfortable and high quality jeans I have ever bought. And I usually snipe a great deal on their sale rack online. Just MHO.
I’d imagine these are baggier. I’ve got two pairs of the slim fit and they’re slimmer on me than the 514s.
Awesome way to start my day. Just picked up 2 pair of the Slim Jeans for $23 total, free shipping.
Hmm. I am being charge a tax when I check out. Is this normal?
If you live in a state where Lands’ End has a retail store, warehouse, or distributor, and you have sales tax, then you will be charged sales tax for buying online. If you don’t, you won’t.
Pretty awesome is what they are!! A little bit more of a marled/heathered look in person but good for those of us who have a month or two more of 90+ weather.
I’m actually not an E. Almost always a D. Borderline except for running shoes which usually fit best in a wide. But these were true for me. 10.5 per usual.
I believe that Sears stores also count as a nexus for Lands’ End now that Sears owns Lands’ End. Kmart stores might count too. The upside is that you can return Lands’ End merchandise at Sears.
Thought the very same when I saw them. They pull it off real well for just north of $110. Could use some softening up, but, that’ll happen over time.
Anyone have any experience with the fit of that v neck sweater?
The heritage poplin in autumn orange is now coming up as on sale?
Just saw the promo code…disregard last comment!
Wool blend V-neck for under $20? Yes, Please!
How skinny are the straight leg jeans? What about the slim fits?
One reviewer describes it as having “wings”. He’s close to my size (6’1″, 42 jacket) but didn’t say what size he bought.
Another reviewer – Jesse: “I’m about 6′, 140 lbs. I bought a small; it hits right at the waist, the sleeves hit right at the wrists, and the chest size is nice and slim, just the way I like it.”
Talk about sizing down…6′ frame and the sleeves still fit? I’ll have to pass.
Those “Indy” style boots look good. For those who prefer not to have the contrast stitching on the top have a look at these: http://canvas.landsend.com/pp/LaceupBoots~212469_-1.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::ZDB&CM_MERCH=IDX_Men-_-ShoesAccessories-_-Shoes&origin=index
It’s a darker brown and may dress up just a little easier, although both seem nice. I don’t own either so I can’t comment on quality or comfort.
I think I’m going to pull the trigger on one of those pairs of boots. Not sure which yet. Hey Joe, the other pair of boots (the ones linked by Wispa) have a few reviews that say the hooks for the laces are flimsy and can break. Can you comment on that?
I’m keeping my eyes peeled for a pair of boots that can bridge the gap between the practical/work boot aesthetic and something more refined like a dress boot. These LEC ones come close… but $100+ still seems a little steep. I’ll keep looking.
Went with the chambray slim fits. And how could I not throw in the pocket square. It’s like having October in your pocket!
I have purchased both the slim and the straight fits. As noted below, the slim is definitely slimmer than the 514, but the straight is nearly identical. In fact, I think they are identical at the cuff, but ever so slightly more material through the leg.
I would recommend the same size in the straight as you wear in the 514. The slim…go maybe one size up?

pulled the trigger on jeans and that autumn orange shirt. 11 for jeans can’t go wrong, and I just really like the shirt.
I also went for the plain-toe boots in the dark brown. Wasn’t sure about the fit so I ordered two sizes. I’ve been waiting for a discount like this so I could also use my LivingSocial deal.
I saw this article when it was first posted and checked again now and they only have the jeans in size 32/34. Is there a page with more sizes or are you all buying size 32?
Oh nevermind I didn’t check the different washes…
Is the code no longer working?
OK, just placed an order for the jeans and boots (brown moc toe) and a cheap purple checked poplin shirt. Great deals!
worked for me about half an hour before I posted last night. don’t know about after that
It does you have to use the one on top of the page, looks like he accidentally switched the numbers at the bottom
If its the same purple check shirt I’m thinking it is, if you sized down it fits amazingly well. If I were to hope on the custom shirt bandwagon, I’d send it to Blank for them to get the measurements off it. Enjoy the purchase
I have them and love them. Very thin fabric, they were great this summer. Slim fit but not skinny at all. True to size.
Just dished out 50 well spent dollars on pocket squares. Worth it.
