Bonobos Facebook Deal – Will 50% off Happen?

Bonobos Facebook Page – 50,000 “likes” by September 30th = 50% off

If you “like” Bonobos on Facebook, come October 1st you’re going to be rewarded with a code for at least 30% off.  That number is also rising, and that code could potentially be worth up to 50% off.  It all depends on whether or not Bonobos hits 50,000 Facebook likes by the end of the month.  If that happens?  Half off for their facebook fans, with a few stipulations.  Here’s the fine print:

Promotion only open to consumers who “like” Bonobos’ Facebook page. Maximum discount for the promo code distributed through this promotion is 50% off purchase. Promo codes valid for one purchase of up to $500. Promo codes may be redeemed from October 1, 2011 at 12:00am EDT to October 2, 2011 at 11:59pm EDT on Bonobos’ Facebook page. Limit one unique promo code per customer. Customers must provide their email address to receive their unique promo code via email. Each promo code is valid for one purchase made on Bonobos.com on October 3, 2011 from 12:00am to 11:59pm EDT.

Couple of sticking points here:

1. You’ll have to give them an email address in addition to liking them on FB.
2. There’s a limited window to GET the code (October 1st – October 2nd)
3. And this is the big one… it MUST be used on October 3rd.

This promotion is a bit of genius by Bonobos.  A facebook “like” is gold to retailers.  Not only do they get access to you in another much more personal & detailed way, many of your friends will see you’ve aligned yourself with the brand.

That, and the way they’ve set it up just looks slick.  Nice old-school flip counter.
