Billed as “Professional Pilot Watches,” Torgoen is a well respected brand that makes watches with designs heavily influenced by aircraft instrument panels. They’re Swiss quartz and not automatic, have dials that are going to be way too big on small wrists, and even their more toned down models (like the T25) won’t exactly blend in to a sea of Citizens and Seikos.
They’re casual, fall firmly in the category of sport watches, but they’re no tiny Timex Camper
The blue dial version of the T25 looks like the Skagen Super Slim’s big brother with a pilot’s license. All come with an extra hand (positioned at 5 o’clock in the pics, it has a triangle at the tip) that allows you to quickly tell the time for another time zone of your choosing. They’re a large 45 mm in diameter, and a 24 hour outer ring on the dial helps out those to whom military time isn’t second nature.
But would you wear one? Or are they a like a 21st century Iceman… a little too wide and a little too much? Leave it all in the comments section below.
