Would you wear it? The 20% Off Longwing Blue Suede Shoe

The Florsheim Limited Haviland Longwing – $128.00 w/code LINK20 ($160)

Brace yourselves for a really convoluted analogy.  Blue suede shoes are a little like a Match Game panelist.  Never boring, but sometimes a little too over the top for most of us to pull off.  The Florsheim Haviland is the Richard Dawson of blue suede shoes.  Plenty cool with just enough, but not too much swagger.

The warm brown contrasting Goodyear welt sole is the perfect compliment to the deep shade of blue, and the long wing (where the perforations wrap all the way around to the back of the heel) isn’t something you see every day.  They’re loud but they don’t shout.  Kinda tempting even for some of us who are self described minimalists.

Major applause for Florsheim.  Their Florsheim by Duckie Brown collaboration has been immensely successful, and it feels like some of that creativity is starting to trickle down to their more affordable lines.

Normally $160 but the LINK20 20% off code is still active.  Ships free too.  You’re on the hook for returns.  Also available in grey and brown suede, a brown oiled leather, and a standard black tumbled leather.

But would you wear the blue?  Or would you stick with something more mainstream?  Leave your vote below. would
