There are two colors on B.R’s website in play here. The prices they show in blue aren’t actually in their sale section, but instead are “special savings” on select merchandise. The prices they show in red are part of their standard sale section, which is notorious for having almost no regular sizes left.
For simplicities sake, we’ve just gathered the best of the best and colored em’ all up the way we usually do. That, and we’ve sifted out the stuff that doesn’t have a decent size selection.
Confused? Awesome. On with the best from each section.
UPDATE: Looks like, for whatever reason, the “special savings” price is coming and going on this one. It’s still in the special saving section, but appears to be listed back at full price. For now.
This is a bit of an odd one. It’s actually a micro stripe suit w/ tiny black stripes. When combined with the tan base it ends up a greyish sort of taupe. For us gray honks, that’s awesome. Throw in the single button and a nice high subtle peak lapel, and it’s far from your standard khaki summer suit. Could look cool and unique. Tailored fit is by far their tightest (ex: I’m a 40 in their tailored, while a 38 in their modern).
You’re either a driving loafer guy or you’re not. Some stick with their Jack Purcells when it gets warm. Others reach for boat shoes. Some just go sockless in suedes. The Driver kinda gets left in the dust. But if you dig the driver look? These aren’t a bad price.
How this made it to the sale section with almost all sizes available is a small miracle. Looks much, much better in person than it does on the site. Goes terrific with jeans or lighter almost white chinos. Trim through the sides, chest pockets blend in well, and you’ve got hand pockets at your disposal too.
“Heritage” is an upscale sub brand of BR, and the details like suspender buttons on the waist are certainly vintage inspired. Gotta love the muted pattern.
Another mystery as to how these got to the sale section with so many sizes. More than 50% off, this is the chino for guys who love their jeans. Lighter weight than denim, but a different texture than regular chino. Comes with jean-like five pocket styling. The straight fit on the 5-pocket pant is pretty close, so this slim fit might be too close for some.
No word on when the Banana Republic “Special Savings” deals expire…

Plus fancy fabric flannels for all the bourgeoisie Al Borlands.
Significant savings. While they last. Which usually isn't very long.
Timepieces of all sorts, "sweet cheeks" in shorts, a couple blazers and a chair.
Thurs. Update: sizes are coming and going, seesawing between sold out and limited stock.
