Lands’ End Canvas – 2011 Store Wars Champion

CONGRATULATIONS Lands’ End Canvas!

Forget running for election.  I don’t know why anyone would every want to RUN an election.  After this whole sometimes trying yet still totally enjoyable shindig, I’ve got a whole new appreciation for those older ladies who hand me my ballot as well as my “I Voted” sticker on election day.

Accusations of unfair campaigning (because they campaigned?), money buying influence amongst the “election staff” (child please) and questions about the overall logistical legitimacy of the contest (I myself can in fact compare apples to orangesI prefer apples.), all made Store Wars anything but a snooze fest.

But if Highlander’s Duncan MacCleod taught us nothing, in the end, there can be only one…

Congratulations to the entire Lands’ End Canvas team.  Not just for defeating some stiff competition in our little tournament, but also for the immediate success their new take on the classic Lands’ End brand has become.

Here’s to hoping there’s at least a small party in Dodgeville Wisconsin tonight.  Prost!

If their crazy sales, terrific pocket squares, hand written thank you notes to new customers, and their unbeatable return policy have still left you unconvinced… know that the auburn haired young lady in the video above is not only a Lands’ End Canvas model, she also moonlights in the SI Swimsuit issue.  Extra credit, thy name is Cintia Dicker.
