This is the thing about almost all on-sale merchandise. If it was totally perfect without a single detail that could be questioned, then it wouldn’t be on sale.
Not sure about this one. $250 is pretty steep but with a retail price of $500, you’re probably getting a really nice coat. The epaulets stand out but don’t look outrageously big, the tabs at the cuffs are a nice touch, and the trench inspired gunflaps provide those two great diagonal lines that cut in at the shoulders. Nice button front pockets and the length looks great.
But no buttons? A zipper instead? Placing it off center was probably a good choice. If you’re going to break from tradition and throw in a modern detail, might as well place it in an updated way.
