At last check Macy’s was selling the Hilfiger Trim Fit Tuxedo for an outrageous $525. Usually you can find them on sale for the mid $200s, with the entire trim fit suiting line dipping into the low $200s on One Day Sales.
With that said, I’ve never seen them go as low as $150. Thank you Overstock.com.
Sure the pic on Overstock is anything but flattering. The model looks like he’s wearing a jacket that’s a size too big. At the very least it needs tailoring. And it’s the tailoring that’ll set you, in this Tux, apart from the rest of the poor rental wearing guys at your next formal affair.
Along with getting it tailored, this tux is light years ahead of a rental because it’s wool, the shoulder pads aren’t behemoths, and the lapels are a perfect not to wide, not too skinny notch. The inside jacket picture proves this is the real deal, since Hilfiger Trim Fits have that striped edge to the inner pocket.
A great deal if you’re in the market. Especially since it’s not that much more than what it would cost to rent one.
