Seiko Flight Instrument Dial Watches

Seiko SNN2 Series Chronographs:  In Brown Leather – $141.00 | Black Ion Plated – $178.64

Three details should remind you of an airplane instrument dial:

  • The downwards pointing triangle at noon
  • The white sword silhouette hands
  • The font of the numerals

These things look so much like an altimeter that if you fall off a ladder you’d expect the hands to spin uncontrollably.  It looks like that these are your only two options for styling, for now.  Seems like a pretty limited release, and hopefully they’ll pump out some more options with this dial (preferably one with a black leather band and matching dial).  42.6 mm in diameter, so not huge and not tiny either.  Right in between.

Macy’s is selling both the Ion plated and Leather band for more than you can find them on Amazon, but only the leather band is sold by Amazon on Amazon.  Internet watch buying can get a bit sketchy, so be careful, read the dealer reviews, and make sure you know the return policies.
