Code expires 11/6/10 at 11:59pm ET. Online only.
J. Crew doesn’t really do large site-wide sales. Especially on the expensive stuff and/or their most popular items. But through Saturday you can get 25% off your entire order, as long as it gets over $150 and you use the code FALLSALE at checkout.
There are two ways you can make the most of this. #1: Go whole hog and buy a big ticket item. J. Crew just doesn’t play the markdown game to the extent that say, Banana Republic does… so 25% off something pricey is a pretty good deal. #2: Buy a few items that add up to $150. It’s not easy, and you shouldn’t just buy something you don’t want for the hell of it, but sometimes it’s actually smarter to get something small you weren’t planning on buying because in the end you’ll pay less. Really. Here’s a few suggestions:
.
Buy just the bag and you’ll pay $128. Throw the on-sale scarf in with your order, use the code, and you’ll end up paying less. Just $114.74. Think of it like you’re buying the bag, getting the scarf for free, and still saving $13. Ta-da.
.
J. Crew suits almost never go on sale. Thanks to the store wide 25% off $150, all of them have just become discounted. Their plain medium gray flannel was recently released and although you can only wear it half the year, it would still be an incredible addition to your lineup. If you live in the north where the temps dip down into single digits? This might get a lot of use between now and March. Made of Italian Fabric in the Ludlow modern cut. Also worth considering is their worsted wool and their herringbone. Both of which will now cost around $400 with the major markdown.
.
It’s everywhere. You can’t escape it. And yeah, you have to admit that changing the watch strap in and out whenever you please with any of the plethora of options J. Crew offers is pretty nice. But even with the 25% off, you’ll pay more than $100 for a Timex. At least it’s not $150.
The J. Crew 25% off code FALLSALE expires 11/6 and it’s only good on purchases over $150.
