5 Affordable Essentials that’ll keep you warm

Guest Post for The Effortless Gent – 5 Style Essentials that’ll keep you warm

If you live in Miami, feel free to ignore this one.  For everyone that’s North of the Mason Dixon line, this is the time of year where flip flops are nothing but door stops, and shorts are only worn at the gym.  Staying warm isn’t a liability to looking good and feeling comfortable.  The opposite is actually true.  Because in the summer you can only take off so many articles of clothing before it gets obscene, and in the fall and winter it’s the layering and heavier fabrics that let you show off your personal style.

Click on over to the Effortless Gent if you’d like to see our guest write up of the must-have affordable and warmth providing pieces for winter 2010.  It’s the best and most affordable of what we’ve seen so far, much of it commented on and endorsed by some of you.  (Thanks as always for the tips)

Got a favorite piece of cold weather clothing that you feel should make the list?  A coat, gloves, boots, or otherwise?  Leave it in the comments section below so the rest of us can find new ways to stay warm while looking good.
