Not immediately thinking of that particular line upon hearing the word “Maverick” is beyond me.  It’s downright Pavlovian.  What isn’t beyond many a watch lover’s budget is the current Nordstrom Sale price on the Victorinox Maverick II Chrono.  Under $200 is unheard of for one of these, especially when it comes equipped with a chronograph.

The rubber watch band, light dial & green bezel, and chronograph give this particular model an unbeatable combination of sport, color, and function.  Even though being a slave to logos is never a good idea, you’ve got to admit that the Victorinox cross and shield is one of the best out there.  And that raised trademark on the black rubber watch band only adds to the overall look.

A 42mm case diameter puts it right in the sweet spot of medium to large.  Unless you’ve got really small wrists, this should look just fine across yours.
