French Connection Bluff Jacket – SALE $65.00

French Connection Bluff Jacket – $65.00 (reg. $168)

Wearing a casual cotton but still sharply tailored blazer with jeans is another “trend” that’s well worth never giving up.  It just flat out looks great, it can be dressed up or down depending on your shoes, and it’s easy to put together.  Finding decent lightly structured blazers on the other hand, isn’t so easy.

This pair from French Connection seem to be the perfect combination of low price and laid back vibe.

The brown buttons and patch pockets certainly make it look casual, but that doesn’t mean you still couldn’t wear them with chinos, an oxford, and a tie.  The lapels look like they hit that not too skinny, not too wide middle ground.  As far as off the rack tailoring, you just can’t tell from the pics how much they’ll need to be brought in.

But seriously…  for $65.00?

Even if it takes a bit of an investment in alterations, you’re still going to come out way ahead.

Sizes are somewhat limited.  Especially for the navy.  But since you probably already have a navy blazer, give the lighter “sisal” color some consideration.  Try it with a gingham shirt and jeans.
