Hear the brand name Fossil and you’re almost surely going to think of their entry level watches. And there’s a few of those that are worth giving a second look, but… what you probably don’t think of is their clothes and other accessories.
They specifically excel in bags. Small to mid size pieces that have a good feel when you pick them up, and look just as good as the more casual offerings from higher up brands. Ever been walking through a Macy’s and seen a random assortment of messengers or weekend bags hanging from a display? Those are probably Fossil.
Their Wagner Duffel keeps the price in a reasonable territory thanks to a waxed canvas body. Leather accents like perfect retro styled handles finish off the look, and a detachable shoulder strap makes it easy to carry through the airport. There’s minimal branding with a small tonal gray/taupe FOSSIL on an exterior pocket corner. Barely noticeable.
Also available in… camouflage? Get the brown.
(Want a higher end look? Try the glazed leather Jackson Duffel. A bit more expensive at $198.00)
