Big and sporty but not humongous at 47mm, the D&G Sean watch is a great diameter for just about any large watch lover. (Even those of us under 6 feet tall). Plus the current price at 40% off is about as low as it gets for a D&G Sean. They don’t even go for that on Gilt.
The previous version came equipped with a chronograph which is awfully nice for keeping track of how much time you have left on the parking meter. But if you’re gunning fmore or the style and less the functionality, the latest model carries that load nicely.
The screws along the case are a bold touch but they’re closer to a matte finish so the light doesn’t bounce off them. The date window arm holds a small magnification piece over the numerals, and that day indicator in the center of the dial is certainly a different take.
Are their ads over the top? Absolutely. And so is most of the rest of the brand. But their watches some how get it right. And usually for an affordable price too. You just need to know where to look.
