One of the almost unnoticed trends of spring 2010 was the return of the baseball jacket. Not a barracuda, not a field jacket, but the old-time ribbed cuff and collar baseball jacket.
They’re nothing but absolutely casual and a lot of them look just too raggedy. But this version from Ben Sherman doesn’t. The hounds-tooth body is grown up, the curve of where the sleeves meet the the chest is almost motorcycle jacket like, and the snaps appear to be a flat, not shiny black.
Add in the bold stripes at the collar, cuffs, and hem and you end up with a baseball jacket that even a grown man could wear.
