The Magic Bullet for Tired Eyes

Aveda Tourmaline Charged Eye Creme – $31.00 for 0.5 oz

Your eyes are not only the windows to your soul, they’re also a reflection of your liver and sleeping habits.  Have a week where you get too little rest and consume a little too much booze, and the skin around your eyes start to look like garbage.

Aveda’s Tourmaline charged Eye Creme is one of the few eye creams that seems to deliver on what it promises to do. Which is (paraphrasing here) prevent you from looking like hell.  I used to have a job that required my alarm to go off at 3:20 AM, and sometimes getting 7 – 8 hours of sleep was just impossible.  I started to look… not quite like death… but I wasn’t a good representation of living either.

Gently rub in a couple dabs of the Vaseline colored goo under your eyes in the morning as well as when you go to sleep at night… and before you know it you actually look younger.  More well-rested even.  Those dark circles and bags just kind of melt back into your face.

$30 for a half ounce tube is expensive, but it lasts forever.  It quickly soaks in, and for me it produces real results.  Should we always drink plenty of water, commit to getting 8 hours of sleep every night, and never have that third (or fourth) cocktail on a Thursday evening?  Absolutely.  But what any fun is that?
