Adidas Samba Classic

Adidas Samba Classic – Black SALE $39.50 | White – $55.00

We Americans still have yet to take to the world’s game.  That doesn’t mean most men under the age of 50 can’t appreciate the laid back vibe put off by a pair of classic football/futbol/soccer trainers.

The Adidas Samba is one of the best selling Adidas shoes of all time and non-soccer playing Americans are a big reason why.  They’re comfortable but still hip.  Plus they’re almost as versatile as a pair of Jack Purcells or PF Flyers.  The only drawback being you can’t wear them with chinos and a blazer.

I mean, I suppose you could… but they just don’t dress up as well as a pair of bright white Converse.

If someone was to produce a top 10 of the greatest sneakers in existence today, (hey, a light bulb just went off…) it’d be tough not to see the Sama crack the top 3.

The sale on the White pair just ended.  They’re back up to the full price of $55.  But the classic Black is still on sale for the ridiculous low price of $39.50

So what’s your go to casual sneaker?  Converse, PF Flyers, Sambas, or… something else?
