Express is running a 25% off sale on most of their suits. Now some of their suits have just too much shine to the fabric (not a big fan of their sateen line) and some of them are just plain odd (like their jackets with epaulets.) BUT… many are pretty stylish and already affordable. The sale just means more savings for you. Here’s our top three picks from their current list or markdowns:
Warm (and even hot) weather is coming. Prepare yourself to stay looking good but staying cool, in a corded cotton suit. Not loud like a seersucker, but has that summer style. Pants could easily stand alone too.
Admittedly, this is starting to get a little pricey for a suit from Express. Even when it’s on sale. But the Window Pane pattern isn’t too over the top, has just the right dash of character. The peak lapels also help it stand out. If you want a statement suit, this could be the one to get.
Although it’s wool, this suit’s fabric (if it’s like other Express suits) is a bit on the thinner side. Not a bad thing since the medium gray and fine pin stripe will work for all four seasons. Decent looking buttons, double back vents.
This could take a bit of confidence to pull off. Black Denim, fitted, with a shawl collar. Tuxedo satin trim on the collar and pockets. It’s a risk, but it could look terrific.
Express is one of those stores that I don’t mind handing over my home address to. Why? Because they send you tons of coupons. $30 off your purchase of $90 or more, and stuff like that. Usually they’ll let you double up during a sale too. And when it comes to a suit sale like this, you could save even more money than you had originally anticipated.
Significant savings. While they last. Which usually isn't very long.
