Congrats to ABC for turning Dancing with the Stars from a totally ignorable cheese fest… into a cultural phenomenon cheese fest. A guy’s interest with DWTS usually peaks with the announcement of the cast, but this time we might actually watch an episode or two. ESPN’s own Erin Andrews, Queen of the sideline reporters, has signed up to rumba.
And why would you not want to tune in and see her do the foxtrot…
Remember this photo shoot video from GQ?

Other “stars” that have been cast for this turn on ABC’s gyrating pop culture locomotive include big time names such as Pam Anderson, Shannen Doherty, and Buzz Aldrin. Buzz Aldrin! He’s 80! If he doesn’t at least attempt to do the moon walk, a massive opportunity will be missed.
That Kate character from Jon and Kate Plus 8 (never seen it) is also in, as is US Figure Skating Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek (he should destroy the competition). The last big name to sign up for this round is the most entertaining man in the NFL, Chad Ochocinco. Aside from Erin Andrews moving her curves around the dance floor, I personally hope to catch Chad telling that short Italian Bruno Judge-guy to “Kiss the Baby”
