Cost Plus was already the number one place to go for decent quality and remarkably affordable leather chairs.  Their Hawthorne Chair is sitting right here in the Dappered Home Offices, and it’s a huge part of our favorite way to relax:

1. Make a drink / pour a beer
2. Put on some good medium tempo music like this, this, or this.
3. Sit in Hawthorne Chair

*Optional: 4. Read something.  But sitting is just fine.

If $300 for the Hawthorne is out of your price range, their Livingston Brown Chair (available only in stores) is a bargain at just $199.00.  The back curves around nicely and the exaggerated arms are classic but not boring.  And for just $200, it’s a steal

Put your feet up on a good ottoman, and you’ll be set.  Way better than some overstuffed and ugly la-z-boy any day.
