This comes from personal experience:  A 40″ Regular might run a little long in the jacket tail for someone who’s around 5’9 – 5’10”.  If you’re going for that extremely well cut tailored look, you might want to get a 40″ Short.  And be warned, the wide variety of sizes won’t last long.  38, 40, and 42 Regulars should sell pretty quickly.
