ASOS Tailoring – Check Suit $160.00 | Striped Suit $190.00
This could very well be the best line of sub $200 suits out there. Overstock.com will usually have a fair amount of Kenneth Cole suits for around the $200 price point, but sometimes the size selection can be so paltry that it’s more of a disappointment than anything else.
ASOS is based in Britain and that shows up in the cut of their suits. They have more than just the check and striped suits featured here, and many of their suits feature ticket pockets, one button jackets, a more tailored style, and great patterns.
They also claim free returns on un-altered merchandise. (update: a commenter claims that ASOS returns from the U.S. are NOT Free. see below) One of their slogans is “style with substance.” They should add: “for a jaw dropping low price” on the end of that.

Speaking of cheap suits, Macy’s looks like they’re having a clearance sale today – good deals include 3-piece Tallia Orange Tuexedo for only $225.

Asos returns from the US is not free.
Dang. Really? How much? Do you have experience?
They include a returns sticker with the order with the return shipping dependent on the buyer. I had to return a shirt that was a bit large. I had it altered (darted and tapered $12 job) while shipping back to the UK via USPS was $15. I recommend the suits above though. It is a great compromise between polyester and viscose. Polyester doesn’t breathe very well but its very wrinkle resistant while the viscose blend allows the suit to breathe better.
