This thing looks old.  And that’s good.  It looks like something you picked up at an antiques store that long ago might have been used to carry maps or schematics of some kind.

It’s got everything a good work bag needs.  A top handle for the short trips, a shoulder strap for longer walks, and a thin enough frame that it won’t weigh the rest of you down.   You want to look like you’re going to work, not on a four day vacation and you’ve tried to pack everything in your carry on.

Plus the price is downright cheap.  Under $50 for a simple leather-like brief.  Which is pretty rare territory for real decent looking bag.
