If you’re looking around this website for gift ideas, I’m guessing the guy you’re buying for has already moved on from the red plastic frat party cup as his drink ware of choice. He probably has a cupboard full of pint glasses. Some might not even have logos on them. But what happens if he wants to open a bottle of red wine for himself, or more importantly, a guest?
I’m told that all wine glasses are not created equal. Instead of having him rely on his non-matching combination of small bowled wine glasses he got on that one afternoon of wine tasting ($5.00 and you keep the glass!)… give him a set of crystal, classic, and yes, matching wine glasses.
Waterford is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) name in crystal. And their step down brand “Marquis” makes an incredibly versatile, simple, but still terrific-looking set
They look great on a table, or in someone’s hand. They have the feel and shape of extremely nice stemware…
But at $50 for the set of four, you won’t be left on your knees with your head in your hands if you drunkenly drop one.
