My suggestion for the neckwear is one that’s slimmer, doesn’t fatten up so quickly, and is a bit more subdued in the micro-pattern.

Then save some serious money by ordering this one from overstock.com. Shipping is always super cheap, and returns are easy enough (pre-tailor) if it doesn’t seem like it’ll fit.
