The Weekend (or better yet Long Weekend) Trip is one of the most underrated ways to vacation. Pack up your stuff, hop on a flight or jump in your car, and go for a few days. I could argue that it’s far superior to packing up your entire life for a week or two… flying across the country… and then getting the inevitable “man I wish I was just at home in my own space” feeling five days in.
