The Thursday Handfuls are great, but what if Monday (or Tuesday) rolls around and there are a few sales that can’t wait until the weekend? You’ll find three of the best, with a few picks from each, to start the week below.
It’s a quick one. Ends tonight. Most items seem to be 40% off + the additional 40% off that discounted price, which works out to 64% off MSRP as that additional 40% gets taken off the sale price (100x.6x.6=36). That’s good for Banana Republic’s step-down/diffusion line, BR Factory. And while a recent, ridiculous experience with their once excellent Traveler Jeans was annoying and disappointing, getting in person with some other stuff from this fall line has been decently encouraging. Their merino sweaters are still really good for the price. (Don’t machine wash them. stick to dry cleaning.) And their outerwear still shows promise. You just gotta pick your battles and keep expectations in line.
Solid discount and you don’t have to buy three or four shirts this time. Works on their flagship Non-Iron Supima and Explorer collection lines. Full review of both the Stretch Supima and Explorer Non-Irons can be found here.
Nordstrom Rack gets their overstock from a bunch of different places. Not just mainline Nordstrom stores and their corresponding e-commerce hub. But that also means when Nordy Rack DOES get some new stuff in from mainline Nordstrom, it’s worth a look. Do remember though that once it hits The Rack, free shipping/returns on everything no longer applies. Free shipping will kick in at $89, and in-store returns are free at mainline Nordstrom or The Rack stores, but sending something back through the post/UPS/Fed Ex will cost you a pre-paid label.
Last shot at this sale. It’s one of their two big sales they run each year. (The other being their Anniversary Sale in the spring.) Top-10 picks + analysis can be found here if you’d like a refresher.
