Classic fit here. So if you’re used to their trimmer Ludlow fit, you may need it tweaked by a tailor. Fits have been expanding the last couple years across all brands. So seeing J. Crew shift towards more accommodating silhouettes isn’t a surprise. That and during the warmer months, tight = unpleasant.
Terry cloth… so a towel?
As someone who has done an enormous amount of camping in his time… can’t recall anyone ever wearing a “camp collar” shirt while camping. Seems like that’d be an invitation for ticks to set up shop on your torso. BUT! They are quite nice for extra airflow in the summer.
Clearly not as versatile as a navy or charcoal or medium gray… but that’s why it’s on mega clearance. Surprisingly good amount of sizes left. Italian wool, half canvas construction, easy to tailor non-functioning sleeve cuff buttons… you know the drill. Just the lighter gray (as well as a tan).
Anchor’s away! Wait, “critter” socks? Anchors aren’t critters. Unless there’s a part of The Little Mermaid I missed, and somehow there’s a quick crossover with Beauty and the Beast where a sentient candlestick introduces us to an anthropomorphic anchor friend.
OCBDs but a bit more dressed up than the rumpled casual versions we’re all used to wearing.
Something more fall/winter ready. Style is based on a traditional workshirt style. Rugged, garment-dyed, 100% cotton.
More fall. Color above is a dark charcoal looking “onyx.” 53% cotton/47% wool from England’s Moon mill. Unlined back. Should excel as a sportcoat, especially with jeans.
Just the athletic fits. Slim/Straight aren’t included in this one. J. Crew’s tech pants aren’t fully synthetic. So if you’re someone who likes the feel of a traditional cotton fabrics but also wants some performance blended in, these are worth a shot. 51% elastomultiester/41% cotton/8% elastane.

J. Crew is synonymous with gingham. But instead of a traditional button up long sleeve shirt, this time they’ve made them in a 100% linen camp collar shirt for summer. Brilliant. Four colors to pick from.
What the H-E-double-popsicle-sticks? Where’d they dig these up from? Navy or black. Tons of sizes too. Still final sale though. Like everything else in this one, no returns or exchanges. $216 is a lot to wager that it works out.
