Lands’ End 50% off One Item Sale (even Canvas stuff?)

50% off ONE item at Lands’ End with: HALFOFF & pin 9710

It has been a very, very long time since Lands’ End went half off. Sure, they’re limiting you to just one item, but with all due respect to LE… there might not be quite as many pieces us guys are salivating over compared to some other retailers (Nordstrom, J. Crew, Suitsupply, etc.) So that one item limitation isn’t so troublesome. They seem to be in a bit of no man’s land right now. With one foot in their traditional, normal styles, and with another foot in more contemporary/style forward looks. And that’s okay. Maybe. Depending on the numbers. Maybe they can have it both ways.

AND… for this pin and code? At post time it’s working on their much more modern “Canvas” collection. Goofy Circle Membership be damned! Anyway, half off. Pretty darn good, but the code and pin will only work on one item. So, choose wisely. Picks are below.

Lambswool Plaid Pullover Shawl Collar Sweater – $49.50 ($99)

100% lambswool. Pattern that is reminiscent of blackwatch, but isn’t quite full holiday sweater territory. The kind of thing you would have seen on the slopes when skis were made of wood. Now? You can just wear it on your Saturday morning coffee run, or Tuesday night Netflix catch-up session.

100% Cashmere Breton Stripe Crewneck – $99.50 ($199)

A perfect, mid-weight cashmere that should work year round and look especially good in the spring and summer thanks to those stripes. Super soft and strong feeling fabric. After a few months of more than frequent wear, it’s showing no signs of piling or stretching out. Probably the best thing Lands’ End has on their site at the moment. Size shown above is a medium on 5’10″/185.

Cashmere V-Neck – $89.50 ($179)

Ninety bucks ain’t cheap, but if the cashmere is the same quality as the Breton Stripe crew, and the fit is the same (and it appears to be the same according to the description), then these might be a real nice value at ninety bucks. Especially considering competing cashmere at this price point from the likes of J. Crew and UNIQLO seems to disappoint if you read the reviews. Available in tall sizes too.

Tailored Moon Mills Wool Topcoat ‘ $199.50 ($399)

Been carrying this coat at LE since last winter. Still plenty of sizes left. Tweedy. Has that speckled thing going for it. Shell has that authentic, slightly-rough texture of tweed. Not the heaviest thing, and you might need to layer up if it gets real cold. Lined in nylon. Size shown is a 40R.

Knit Cable 50% Cashmere / 50% Wool Cap – $24.50 ($49)

Fifty fifty. Not a bad ratio, especially when you consider how many brands love to throw the word “cashmere” around when there’s 5% or so in the blend. Charcoal or black. Classic cable knit pattern. Something that’ll never go out of style.

Tailored Fit Navy Plaid Sportcoat – $124.50 ($249)

Nice feeling wool. Navy with a subtle pattern to it. Fully lined, but at least the body is lined in rayon, which should breathe at least a little bit better than polyester. Sleeves are still poly though. Size shown above is a 40R.

Canvas by Lands’ End Textured Crew – $49.50 ($99)

A true slim fit here. 70% cotton / 30% wool feels real nice in the hands. Has some depth to the knit but isn’t bulky in the least.

Cotton Breton Stripe Drifter Crew – $29.50 ($59)

Not gonna be as soft as the cashmere crew, but boy is it a ton more affordable. A good sweater to throw in the weekender bag if you’re heading up to the mountains for a few days.

Tailored Fit Wool Year’rounders Wool in Solid or Stripe – $44.50 ($89)

Well loved by many. Dress trousers in a nice, lighter weight merino wool. Lots of colors to pick from for the solid option, and you can have em’ hemmed before they leave the warehouse.

Flannel 5-Pockets – $39.50 ($79)

Crazy comfortable. Has a perfect level of “fuzz”, meaning, they’re soft, but not furry. Easy to wear with sweaters or sportcoats. Straight fit, and available in either this pale grey shown above, or a deep navy. Size shown is 33—30.

UNLINED Moon Mills Tailored Fit Hacking Jacket – $197.50 ($395)

If you like the heritage sportswear look, but hate the full/baggy fits a lot of that stuff can suffer from? Then this might be a real find for you. Their true, tailored (but not skinny) fit. Totally unlined back. British tweed. Leather buttons. The real deal. Size shown is a 40R.

Stretch Cotton Tailored Fit Navy Plaid Trousers – $49.50 ($99)

That stretch factor should provide some extra comfort. Mainly cotton. 20% poly and 2% spandex. Deep, dark blue with what appears to be a subtle pattern.

Quilted Barge Blazer – $39.99 ($209)

Last call for this thing. Part of last year’s best fall outerwear list. Waxed cotton body from Scotland. Wool/cotton sleeves. Corduroy collar & elbow patches. Cut in a sportcoat style but it’s very much outerwear no less. Jacket as a whole has a nice, high-quality feel in your hands. Sizes are down to L and XL at post time.

Tailored Fit Flannel Trousers – $49.50 ($99)

Like the Year’rounders, but only in fall & winter ready flannel. 70% wool and 30% poly. Soft flannel for the colder days. Available in either brown or light grey.

Wool/Nylon Topocats in Grey Plaid – $199.50 or Navy – $174.50

Two wool blend topcoats, each with some trench inspired button details at the cuffs, equipped with rayon body linings and poly sleeve linings. Rated for 5 to 25 degrees Fahrenheit. A way to get a little bit of that military inspiration/heritage, without going full shoulder epaulets.

Wool Blend Shawl Collar Cardigan – $74.50 ($149)

Nautical without diving into a cable knit. 50% Wool, 30% Nylon, 15% Acrylic, 5% Wool-Alpaca makes up the blend. Something that’ll look great worn over a t-shirt as well as an OCBD. Pretty classic/timeless stuff here.

Canvas by Lands’ End Wool Polo Coat – $224 ($449)

A bit more flash here. Olive, 80% wool / 20% Nylon exterior. Double breasted. Peak lapels. Slimmer fit (so know that if you have some bulk up top you might struggle to get this on over a bigger sweater or something along those lines). Insulated.

For Her: Tall Classic Riding Boots – $124.50 ($249)

Aw. Yeeeeah.

This 50% off ONE item, Canavs goods seemingly included, code HALFOFF and pin 9710 expires today, 10/19/16.
