Win it: The Saddleback Medium Thin Front Pocket Briefcase

Saddleback Leather “Thin” Front Pocket Briefcase – $489.00

One hundred years. That’s a long time.

Here’s what was going on a hundred years ago. WWI was raging. The light switch had just been invented. The U.S. National Park Service was founded. And we were still a dozen years from Penicillin being observed as having antibiotic properties.

So yes, 100 years is a long time. But Saddleback’s briefcases, including this Thin Front Pocket Brief, would have looked just as good back then as they do now. And they’ll look just as good in 2116… which happens to be the year the warranty on a Saddleback case purchased today runs out.

Super thick, strong, full grain leather. Shown here in dark coffee brown.

This front pocket brief takes a step up in storage from the well loved Thin Brief, without going full beast mode like their massive original briefcase. Exterior dimensions are 15″ W x 11 ½” H x 3 ½” D, which holds most 15″ laptops. And those two pockets on the front of the exterior? They’re not dinky. Their interiors measure 5 ½” wide x 6 ½” high and a good 1 ¼” deep, with extra room to flex a bit thanks to the tough but soft full grain boot leather. Behind each pocket is a slot to store maps, a newspaper, or other thin items. Smart. Very smart. It’s a detail that’s easy to miss, but offers quick access to an item without having to unbuckle those front pockets.

More pockets = more room to carry “essentials.” Like whiskey and thin mints.

Like all Saddleback stuff, it’s made from tough, full grain leather. Super thick stuff. And they use as few pieces of leather as possible in order to minimize any seams and stress points. Marine grade thread and rivets keep it all held together (y’know, for a hundred years… or more). Interior is lined with pigskin.

Great hardware, pigskin lined, and an internal key strap.

This is the case to have if your Every Day Carry list is longer than some. We also live in a gadget age, and this is the Saddleback you’d want to use if you’re down with all the latest tech. Who knows what our gadgets will be able to do in the decades to come. But this thin front pocket brief from Saddleback will be ready and waiting for whatever comes along. Because some things just don’t go out of style.

Enter here to win a Saddleback Thin Front Pocket Brief in your preferred shade of leather. One entry per person. Deadline for entry is 11:59 pm ET 8/24/16. Thanks to Saddleback for providing the case for Reader Appreciation Week. Good luck!

UPDATE: Congrats to T. Morgan who won the drawing for the Saddleback thin front pocket briefcase!
