Most Wanted Affordable Style – April 2016

Consider these to be power rankings. Whether you’re looking for gift ideas or a quick upgrade for yourself, expect these to come around about once a month. You’ll find new arrivals and old favorites, especially good deals, or maybe something pricey to keep an eye on for future sales. The potential best of the best, which you may or may not have seen already. Got a tip on something that deserves to end up in the monthly Most Wanted? Send those in here.

Clark’s Desert Boots in “Amber Gold” Leather – $130

Yowza. Check out the marbling to the textured leather. As long as it doesn’t look too aggressive in person (not going for a Cheetah print) these could look fantastic up against dark wash denim. Almost has a Horween Dublin look to it.

Bonobos Unconstructed Italian Wool Sportcoats – $398

Yes they’re expensive, but they’re pretty unique in the menswear world. There is almost zero construction to these things, yet the loose weave, Italian wool helps them drape with a certain amount of crispness. They are not a rumpled cotton chino blazer, but they’re not some stiff, upper crust wool blazer either. Perfect for travelling and/or everyday use. Very airy and breathable. Easy to tailor, non functioning sleeve buttons. Five different shades, including a perfect for the hot weather to come pale grey. Now if Bonobos could just run a 20% or 25% off code sometime in the near future.

Timex Waterbury Chronograph in Natural / Tan – $119.00

Yep. Another Monthly Most Wanted… another new Timex. But… credit to Timex. They’ve been knocking it out of the park lately. And this new “natural” dial addition to their Waterbury lineup looks fantastic. Tan strap too. Perfect for the warmer months. Currently only available through END. Clothing’s website? Image above is via the Timex Instagram feed.

Allen Edmonds Cornwallis Dress Oxfords – $395.00

Introduced last year, this might be one of the sexiest Allen Edmonds shoes of all time. True oxford/closed lacing so they’re super sleek. Medallion at the toe, but the brogue perforations are limited to the top of the shoe. They’re a fantastic blend of eye catching details and clean, smooth leather. When they first came out there was immediate hope that they’d become a new permanent fixture in the Allen Edmonds lineup. And it looks like that just might be happening. Full review can be found here. Really hoping they get some sort of discount during the upcoming Anniversary Sale, which launches this Friday, 4/8.

These Shorts from J. Crew if they weren’t SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS

Extra large gingham and a classic blue and white color scheme… but how much? For shorts? UPDATE: Okay, well, they’re 25% off with the code SHOPSALE. But… $56.25 for shorts?
