The Menswear Movement, Words on Birds, & The Call of CThurkey

NO ONE MUST SAY A THING ABOUT THIS, EVER:

(thank you)

WHEN YOU LOSE THE ATHLETES…you’ve lost. Apparently the world wide web-weaned who are convinced the world cares about what they think about any and every thing ever; they who have helped destroy civility in our everyday interactions with the world…where was I? Oh yeah. Athletes have had enough of their shit and I can’t even think of a better example of just how lame this new reality of ours is. Oops. I forgot to turn off soapbox mode. My bad.

#MENSWEAR: Some thoughts on the last decade and where the internet has taken the menswear movement and what it has meant for the fairer sex as well.

LIFEHACK OF THE WEEK: The word on the bird. And other birds. Then more birds. Then a most complicated combo. Basically, you’re welcome. Editor’s Note: Fantastically useful. But have you read the latest… ornithological piece?

FORM:

(merci)

Gene Kelly – An American In Paris 1953

THE RIGHT STUFF: Here’s another reminder of why I like this guy. As in, have beers with. And such.

IS IT ME…or is this just a bit unseemly given the country’s recent discussions about the haves and the have nots.

DON’T BE LIKE THIS GUY: Seriously, ugh.

GAH! My. Worst. Nightmare. Mostly. There have literally been nightmares. It’s recurring.

ONCE UPON A TIME:

(thank you)

NEED TO FRESHEN UP YOUR CRIB? There seem to be some good options here. Might even be worth a road trip.

NOT GONNA LIE: I am a novice when it comes to lacing my shoes. Absolute novice. I have so much to learn.

BEST. MOM. EVER: On the other hand, she is forever going to need to up her game.

TRUE STORY: The customer is NOT always right. That is so last century. To be more specific, that is so last mid century.

EDDY, IN A SWEATER, WITH PUSSY:

(thank you)

CANNOT BE UNSEEN: A Very Lovecraftian Thanksgiving.  Editor’s Note II: When it hits the table, it needs to be slowly brought out, in dim light, with its own soundtrack.

MARKET FORCES AT WORK: So this is a good thing, right? Looks around, sizing up the crowd, and declares, “definitely a good thing. Right.”

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE…patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue, THAT ISN’T EVEN A WORD ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? Fudge.

THE MORE YOU KNOW: Putting the foundation in founding fathers. Or something. But for reals, this is what it’s like in flyover land.

OOPS: The NFL learned a lesson this week. And a whole lot of people all of a sudden had a new perspective on and appreciation for those afflicted. So, worse things could happen? Maybe?

DESPERATION IS A SAD AND UGLY THING: So many risks for such a lousy payoff. Ok, that might have been just kind of mean. But ugh. Not a fan of those particular suds.

IT’S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT…I guess if you just want to delay the inevitable, you might as well make if feel like home.

IN THE NEVER ENDING LIST OF THINGS TO BE WARY OF…we get this. Which is not super good news for people who have been surrounded by this disease.

INCOMING!
