Win it: The Huckberry Eliminator – October 2015

The Eliminator – Five from Huckberry

Here’s how this works:  Each day we’ll eliminate one item until only one is left standing at the end of the week. Vote for the item you’d LEAST like to own in the poll at the bottom of the page.  The item with the most votes gets eliminated at the end of the day. The item that remains at the end of this battle royal will be won by one of you, via an enter to win post firing off on Friday.

About Huckberry: It’s not easy to stand out in the world of flash sale websites, but Huckberry does it. With an emphasis on the outdoors and active lifestyle gear, they nail the upscale-rugged thing. Also, their sales are often filled  with made in the USA goods. All of these items are either currently available, or, have recently been available through Huckberry. May the best item win!

NOTE: New customers can use the code DAPPERED20 for an extra 20% off through 10/31/15.

Woolrich Footwear Yankee Wool Lined Boots – $279.98 ($325)

These used to be a well kept secret, but they’re too darn good and word has since gotten out. Made in the USA from US sourced components. (Hence the name “Yankee.”) Horween leather uppers and a Goodyear welted, not too aggressive lug sole. Incredibly comfortable right out of the box, and lined with a thin layer of moisture wicking, temperature regulating wool. These do great in all types of weather. Even when it’s hot. Also available unlined, but honestly… take the wool. Full review here.

Accidentally Extraordinary Bluetooth Headphones – $179.98 ($199)

A brilliant merging of classic audiophile style and 21st century technology. Sustainably grown Walnut wood is used for the casing, while wireless Bluetooth connectivity allows you to wander up to 35 feet cord-free. The leather wrapped stainless steel frame means they’ll be comfortable as well as unbelievably good looking. Battery life is good for up to 10 hours. The kind of headphones that never, ever get stashed into a drawer.

Armogan Spirit of St. Louis Chronograph – $199.98 ($225)

You’re my boy blue. The already difficult to acquire Armogan Spirit of St. Louis Chronograph, now in a rare blue strap, hands, and Indices combination. Looks great as is, but would also look terrific on a light tan or burgundy strap. Domed crystal. Terrific font, hands, and subdials. Vintage looks that don’t try too hard. Miyota Quartz movement.

Woolrich Americana Jacquard Throw – $164.98 ($198)

This is going to appeal to some, and be of no interest to others. Totally understand. But if you’re proud of your place, and have cultivated an apartment or a house that you love to bring people back to and/or host at, then something like this could be a real stand-out, yet functional piece. 95% wool, 5% Nylon, made by the oldest running vertically-integrated woolen mill in the United States.

Filson Original Briefcase – $265.00

A classic that’ll never go out of style. Not too frumpy for more dressed up workplaces, and not too stuck-up for dressed down workplaces. Two way, beefy brass zipper and bridle leather accents. Made in the USA.

Here comes the tough part. Pick the item that you’d LEAST like to win and vote below to have it eliminated. One item gets cut every day. The item that’s left at the end of the week will be up for one of you to win on Friday. These are all terrific items, and many thanks to Huckberry and the brands for being on board with The Eliminator. Voting closes at 11:59pm ET.
