Win it: Bespoke Post’s “Worn” Box

Bespoke Post “Worn” – $45.00

For $45 per box, Bespoke Post will deliver to your door a “box of awesome” once a month. Inside you’ll find hand selected items curated for a guy like you. You can skip any box you want or cancel at any time. Click here for more.

Before something becomes an old favorite, it has to start out as new (…heavy, right?). And Bespoke Post is aiming to add to your collection of soon-to-be old favorites with this “worn” box.

It’s a two-parter, with both pieces being made here in the USA.

Available in saddle (shown), or espresso. Auburn sold out.

The belt from Line of Trade is a veg-tanned, casual leaning, 1.25″ wide competitor to the GAP basic leather belts. Couple of differences (and improvements) with the Bespoke Post option: 1. it’s a hair slimmer top to bottom, and thus dresses up better than the GAP belt. 2. The subtle roller at the buckle is going to appeal to some. 3. It’s made in the USA (unlike the “imported” GAP belt), and that’ll appeal to more than a few.

A NOTE ON SIZING: There’s no vanity sizing with these, so you might want to get out the measuring tape, and measure your favorite belt. Start at the buckle, and measure to the middle hole. That’s how big you should order. Don’t be surprised if it’s a size larger than you’re used to, thanks to traditional retail’s penchant for vanity sizing (I wear a 34 in the GAP belts, but a 36 in this option from Bespoke Post fit best).

Nice hardware. Tough leather. Should break in nicely.

The second piece of the box is meant to spend time just below your belt and either a little to the left or right. Wait… what? No, in your pocket.

It’s a simple money clip, stamped out of brass in Chicago for Owen & Fred (they of the “hey Handsome” dopp kits). It’s got a brushed/matte finish, so that keeps the shine down, and has a good amount of tension to it. You won’t have to fight to get your cash or cards out from between it’s grip, but stuff won’t be sliding out on its own either. It’s anything but clunky too, and a switch to this should help those suffering from Costanza-wallet-itis recover from their Irish-money instigated back pain.

The Made in the USA Brass money clip. Slim & simple.

For $45, you get two new, well-executed accessories, that should pick up their own character over time. Most of us are already set on belts, and/or have a money clip that we use daily (or when suited)… but the low-key design and made in the USA element are going to attract some to add to their already stocked collection.

Enter here to win this “Worn” Box from Bespoke Post. One entry per person. Deadline for entry is 11:59 pm ET 4/1/15. Winner gets their chosen size of belt & the money clip. Cash (obviously) not included. Thanks again to Bespoke Post, and Good luck!

UPDATE: Congrats to M. Munley who won the drawing for the “Worn” box from Bespoke Post!
